  1. provide the ability to find/search/display records that have no Category or Type defined.

    I had many records that lost(?) their Category and/or Type setting. I had to go through every record manually to verify or correct them.

  2. Backup/Restore Progress

    Display a msgbox during Backup or Restore to show progress of the process. Example: "Backup is x% complete" where x is continuously updated until 100% and when done, display an "OK" button for user to click before closing the msgbox

  3. SplashID Pro 9 Improvements

    • When opening, have cursor focus on password field
    • When open, have cursor focus on search field like Splash ID 8
    • There is no offline mode for SplashID 9 Pro, which makes it useless in a non-connected environment
    • During the transition period, be able to manually perform another data migration since you have to use SplashID 8 in an offline situation
    • Since most accounts use your email address for the Username, have SplashID 9 Pro remember the ones you have used so you can choose one from a drop down list.

  4. Version 9: Additional display of username in list view

    Version 9 only the record name is displayed in the list area. It would be very helpful if the username could also be displayed. Just like it was in version 8. Similar entries cannot be distinguished, especially on smartphones. Maybe this can be implemented optionally via settings?

  9. Hide records you no longer want to see, but dont want to delete

    Using SplashID over the years you end up with hundreds of records, many are older and unused.
    You don't want to delete them because in the future you may need these old credentials.
    They also help you remeber if you have previously registered on a website, but most of the time they just add clutter.
    You could recategorise them as OLD or use the favourites feature, but they still display in All Categories listing where I do most of my viewing.

    It would be really nice to have a feature to be able to mark records as HIDDEN.

  12. Minimize app to system tray (Windows 10)

    I have just upgraded from version 7.2.4 to version 8.3.5 of the Windows desktop app. With version 7, you could have the application minimize to the system tray in Windows. However, this functionality is not available in version 8.

    Please add the following functionality:
    The application can be minimized (in UNLOCKED mode) to the system tray instead of the application bar.

    Also, version 7 had a nice pop-up window reminder that stated that the application was already running if I tried to open the app a second time.

  13. Fix Full-Screen issue (maximize window) on Windows 10

    In SplashID for Windows (I'm running on Win 10, splash ID version 8.1.1.925), if I accidentally hit "maximize" instead of the "close window" icon (x) in the upper right corner of the screen, it goes full-screen, but the program stops working. All window controls are gone, cannot minimize, close, anything. If I shut down the program via task manager and re-run it, it goes back to full-screen mode, which is busted.
    Note that I'm running a 2-screen system, and one monitor is a 34" 3440x1440 resolution screen. The Fullscreen mode appears to maximize over both screens.

    I am tired of searching for frequently used passwords. Is there a way to "lock" the filter to keep the order of items at ”recently viewed"?

  17. Copy without unmasking in Android

    In the Android app, I have to select a field and then it immediately unmasks. I would prefer to copy the field without unmasking.

    I'm not sure the best way to do this. Possibly, next to each ****, have three buttons, Copy, Edit, Unmask. I think there's room there. Or, just a "..." at the side of each masked field.

    Maybe your UX people can come up with something better.

  18. Allow Android app to function without requiring access to personal data like addresses, files and photos

    This is a security must-have. I will not use the SplashID android app if forced to give it access to data for features I don't need or want. It should be optional.

  19. Please add simple formatting options at least to the NOTES section so you can bold, underling, italicize or color text.

    I keep some lengthy notes in the NOTES box of a record. It all looks the same because there is no formatting available -- like bold face, type size (pitch) underline, italics or coloring text or coloring background.

  20. Feature to auto check the main URL of an entry

    The following feature request would be very handy in case of many records (I have 950 at the moment)

    Please add a feature to auto check the main URL of an entry.

    This should happen in the background every time the app is started.
    URL that are offline should be marked internaly and be checked again at the next start of the app.
    When it comes to a 3 times offline status the app could warn the user to check the entry.

    And please work on the MacOS message, that the app is not optimized and has to be updated!
