Previous versions opened the record in a separate window when double clicked. In the new version (Windows, at least), it is very difficult to tell when you are viewing or editing a record. Also, the category drop-downs for editing are very easy to confuse with those for filtering and I keep finding myself accidentally re-categorizing records.
