Add USB sync, and allow use without a subscription
Since it is required that users have a pro subscription to do wifi or cloud sync, a new option should be made for people without a subscription to back up their data. You say wifi sync needs a lot of support, hence the subscription requirement, so add the ability to sync by USB between a mobile device and a PC, and don't charge a subscription.
Your competitors allow free cloud sync. You should have some form that is free, especially since we already paid to purchase the software.

Is this a new change in version 8? I have a lifetime plan and have been using WiFi sync between version 7 (and version 6) on all my desktop computers, and version 8 on my mobile devices. If there's no option to pay extra for a lifetime WiFi sync license, that would dissuade me from upgrading further.

This one was a deal breaker for me. Gives the impression that the app has turned into a cash grab opportunity. I had already paid for the app which at one point had basic wifi sync but now it's gone. Forced to upgrade to the pro version for both my iPnone and iPad. Wifi sync should still be allowed without having to fork over more money. Ready to move on.
