data corruption since 9.4.0

Hi SplashID-Team,since release 9.4.0 I'm experiencing data corruption. I've opened tickets (#130139 and #134643) on that, but they are endless and seem to be stuck. I'm providing informations over and over again and then I'm asked to provide the same informations again and again. Or, after having a complete loss of my data in 9.4.9, there is no more reply in the ticket since two weeks.Currently SplashID changes the title of some items reproducible on WiFi-Sync: if I create a record "BBVA", it is renamed to three special characters on all other devices (iOS, iPadOS, Windows). If I delete the record completely and create it from scratch, this again occurs. Some records change the name of the fields: "User" is changed to "R" followed a letter, that doesn't even exist in german. Some don't...And worst: At the moment, if affects record titles and field names, but I cannot tell, if this data corruption will also affect my usernames or my passwords. Since 6 months, beginning with release 9.4.0, I've got a bad feeling, using SplashID and I'm afraid of my data.RegardsMichael

Hi Michael, I sincerely apologize for the frustration caused by the repeated requests for information and the delay in our recent responses. I am the Technical Lead at SplashData. Thank you for highlighting these persistent sync and corruption issues. Our developers have identified this as a bug, and we are working on a fix for the 9.4.11 release, targeted for the third week of May. Please look out for that update across all your devices. Until then, please ensure your data is safe by performing these steps on your primary PC: - Identify your Master Copy: Use the device that currently holds your most accurate and uncorrupted data (which sounds like your main PC) as your primary source. - Create a Local Backup: In the PC application, go to the Backups screen and create a fresh Local Backup. - Perform an SVID9 Export: Additionally, perform a separate .svid9 export of your entire database. Store this file in a safe location outside of the app. I appreciate your patience while we resolve this for you. Best regards, Abhinav Technical Lead, SplashData

Hi Abhinav thank you for you quick response. I already did, what you mentioned: I have several backups on my main PC since months to be prepared for the worst. - I'll now wait until the next release and give a feedback. Regards Michael
