SplashID 9.4.0.453 BETA

Testing on Window 10 Completely agree with all of Angus's comments. 1) Settings> My Icons> Remove Unused Icons: Shows list of unused icons. Available actions are "Close" & "Delete". Add additional action for "Delete Selection" 2) Settings> My Icons> Manage: Shows 2 boxes with heading "Records (0) Icon is not used in any record". I would assume from the heading that unused icons should be identified here. 3) Beta version appears somewhat more responsive than current live release. 4) Beta does appear to freeze/stall/lag. Minimizing SplashID window to the taskbar, then maximizing the window, seems to correct this. 5) Opening URL field now offers 2 choices, External Browser or Opening Link within SplashID. There should be a default option to a user preference. More to come k

New issue!! Windows 10 Using the Internal URL option often causes to spontaneously close New Issue 2 SplashID repeatedly displays "Out of Sync" message, no changes to the database, only one instance of SplashID open (e.g. false positives). Click Refresh Now and wait for 5 - 10 minutes and the cycle repeats.

Thanks for your feedback. 1. We will add selection and deletion of multiple user uploaded icons in a future release. 2. The manage icons view was meant to show usage of an icon in records and types, and then potentially replace it with another. 4. The background sync processing is being investigated as the cause of this intermittent slowness. 5. We are going to split the URL launcher into 2 buttons. One will be to launch it in an external browser, and the other to see it inside the app itself. We expect to put in the fixes in the next beta release that should be available in the coming days.
