Splashid 9.4.0.462 Beta switching in and out of application
On Android I will open SplashID and if I don't get to my record within the first few seconds it started doing whatever it does and the screen freezes for ages (not helped when on a slow connection). I will switch to another app to get on with something else, then try to switch back after a while. Quite often all I get is a completely black screen, and it can stay like that for a very long time. After about 5 minutes (if it hasn't recovered) I'll just give up and close the app. Honestly, I don't mind doing Beta testing, but I had really hoped that the app would have fewer bugs a d a better management of data in the background (I presume the black screen is a consequence of SplashID being 'busy' and not updating the display). How is it that so many other apps I have which runn all sorts of background updating tasks manage to maintain good performance in the foreground tasks and principal functions? I really hope the next beta is closer to a finished product.AK
