SplashID Pro 9.4.0.493 (Beta)
Thank you for the latest Beta. I read the covering email with high hopes. Particularly the bits about resolving the app freezing when performing a sync, but updating and then running the app has proved to be a bit of a let down. I timed it. On the Android device the app was 'alive' for fewer than 15 seconds after login before the screen became unresponsive. It remained unresponsive (whilst I was attemting to scroll records) for 55 seconds before it moved two records and froze again for a further 40 seconds. It then had short bursts of activity but all in all, it took over 2 minutes from that first freeze before I could actually use the app, and all the time my phone was throwing up 'SplashID Pro 9 isn't responding' messages. I see you have also added in the ability to collect root level errors and exception logs. I would be very happy to send you whatever I can to help identify the problems causing the poor response of the app. The Windows 11 app is better, but that could just be down to the power of my laptop vs the power of my Samsung S23 allowing it to crunch the data faster. Either way, there are still extended periods where the app is completely unresponsive. I am sorry to report that these problems are still something that I am excperiencing, but I am very happy to share performance data, logs, etc. with you if it will help. Thank you for your continued persistance with this development. It will be worth it in the end.

Appreciate the details. Please share the exceptions log generated on your phone by going to Settings -> General. Then scroll down to the bottom of the screen. In the Error Log section you will see a Download button to get the log. Please share it by sending it to the support email. I will get it there. Can you also provide some details of your S23 phone in the same email? The Android OS on it, RAM and storage will be useful to know. You are right about the processing power impacting the processing. However, the S23 is a powerful enough phone. Can you try the following please? 1. Please do a 'Sign off and clear data' once from the lock screen or from Settings -> Account -> Sign out. Then kill the app, relaunch it, sign in and let the cloud sync after login finish. You should see the download spinner active. On tapping it will show your icons and attachments syncing. Please let this finish the first time. 2. In Settings -> General please switch off 'Cloud sync on login and unlock', quit the app and then check if you experience any freezing in the record scrolling.
