I do not like that the passwords are masked. I want the ability to globally disable for all items. Sometimes a quick glance is all I need.

Please update your SplashID Windows app to the latest release 8.0.6.863 to use this feature. Global Mask and Unmask on all records can be actioned by the Ctrl+H hotkey or by using "Show All Passwords" / "Hide All Passwords" in the main App menu.
SplashID Windows 8.0.6.863 can be downloaded from on https://www.splashid.com/downloads or use the 'Check for update' option in the application main menu to initiate the update.

Ver 7 desktop has a "Show/Mask" button in the bottom row that toggles between showing the passwords or masking them. I think that is what the OP suggested. I like that they are originally masked when starting the program, but then by pushing one button, I can now see all of them without having to toggle again. I leave them unmasked on my home desktop.

After upgrading, all of my records have the username mask'd and the password unmasked. I shouldn't have to go through each one and 'unmask'. It's a password vault; I log in to see my passwords. There should be a way to turn off masking altogether.

Gman-TN: What I would like to see,and what I think the head for this thread suggests, is that we need an "Unmask all Fileds" button on the main interface. The effect wold be to TEMPORARILY unmask all fields so that they all become visible during the current session. After either the end of the current session, or when the user clicks on the button again, all masked fields become masked again, which is their default state.

@Gman-TN, and if there are 20 different types you have to do that for each of the 20 types. There should be a global setting for all types.

If I am understanding your suggestion correctly, you can already do this. If you to to the "edit types" list, you can change the default "mask" setting for all records of that type.
