For instance, how about a picture of a credit card, or a passport, etc.

I would love the ability to add an image to a record like a photo of a document or item

It would be very nice if an attachment could be made directly from the device's camera without the need to create a pdf or jpg and then attach it in a separate operation. This would make it very handy to include a photocopy of a document related to the record entry. I am thinking specifically of integrating functionality similar to the iPhone app TurboScan, which is an exceeding useful tool for producing all kinds of documents, from restaurant receipts to legal documents.
