The first thing you have to do is place Splah Id Desktop 8 in the Mac App Store. This is really IMPORTANT to trust you our password managent
I have been using Splash Id phone and desktop for many years. Now as an Apple user I need that your product follow apple procedures to inspire confidence. I bougth SplashId desktop through the Mac App Store. Why you do on place version 8 in the App Store for update?. This make your solution less reliable and this is very important when managing passwords.

I have been using SplashID since my Handspring, palm pilot, several Treos, all the iPhone's, all the iPads and most of my macs. More than a decade. When version 7 was finally released via the Mac App Store I cannot begin to tell you how relieved I was to know that this app, which guards the access to all my other apps, financial and legal records would finally be subject to some serious quality checking. Putting Apple engineering into part of the product release cycle means that Splash moved into the realm of seriously trusted applications. It also means that fixes can be installed on almost all the clients simultaneously. Please get the current product back into the Mac App Store as soon as possible. (Yes, I know that this will cost Splash some revenue, but you can make that up with the annual subscription fee. Mac users TRUST Apple a lot more than a 3rd party developer. )

Your app is not "just another app". It is the app in which we trust all our passwords.
When an app is in the Mac app Store it is an additional warranty of security.
It is also easier and faster to update the app which make it also safer in case there is a security problem.
1 password is on the Mac app Store. -

SplashID Desktop 7.2.2 was in the Mac App Store, but we removed it.
Many other apps - not just ours - have decided not to support Mac App Store.
As in our case, just too much headaches and restrictions are in place.
So, it is highly unlikely for SplashID Desktop 8 app to ever get added to Mac App Store - sorry.
