    Thanks for your feedback.

RE Mac Desktop app message, as I told you in your support case with us we have nothing to work on regarding that message. This is already fixed as of May 2018 when our 8.2.0 Mac Desktop app version was released.

    Hello, everybody!

We have good news, as of start of May 2019, we have now added a Firefox extension for SplashID Safe. You can download it here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/splashid/

We also brought back our Google Chrome extension, that one is here:
    https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/splashid/ghhjpfpganbfindikkgalidapogmfiaa

Please note use of these requires your SplashID Safe account to be using Cloud Sync - the extensions won't work for WiFi Sync/No Sync (Standalone) modes.

@Amonimous, please tell us your case # to get help quicker and I will ensure you get a reply ASAP. You might want to also give your names in full.

Sorry but we are a small company and as such cannot offer phone support, similar to how most companies our size do not have it.
For example, some companies that have phone support are Microsoft, Apple, Logitech and they all are MUCH larger companies than ours.
Also, many of those companies may charge you for support, but our support is always free.

    Thanks for contacting us.
Please note this is already present and working.
You will see Touch ID in the iOS app's Settings. If enabled, this will in fact use your Face ID, and work.

Please tell me if you need anything else, or have any other questions or comments.

Thanks for contacting us and asking this question.
No. Please note using the Key Safe on a key ring should be no problem – the USB contacts are somewhat protected by a raised "tooth" on the key. To keep the key very slim, they are slightly more exposed than other USB products, but the contacts should be fine unless you are very hard on them. We used a Key Safe for 2 years this way, and it was still working fine.

Please tell me if you need anything else, or have any other questions or comments.

Thanks for your suggestion, however, sorry, but please note this is not possible.
In the decimal system, there are ONLY 10 digits - 0 to 9.
(we use 1 to 9 in our pattern Login/unlock screen)
So, there is no way to have any other grid larger than 3x3.

Regarding hiding exact path, there is an easy way! -->
The pattern is actually digits. You should be able to figure out the digits, they go like this:
    1 2 3
    4 5 6
    7 8 9
So, if your pattern is first row first dot, first row second dot, second row second dot, the digits are 125.
If your pattern is S-shaped, the digits are 321456987. If it is Z-shaped, then they are 1235789/etc.
So, if you enter the digits that correspond to your pattern as the TEXT password, you can use that to avoid getting your pattern seen, and still use pattern login when you are alone/etc.

    RE pattern security:
Pattern is a bit less secure as the combinations are less, but we had a mathematician run some tests, and he said you should be fine if using a decently complex pattern.

Paul Cohn & others with Android devices with Fingerprint sensor, please note Fingerprint login/unlock has been added to our Android app too, in SplashID Safe Android app version 8.1.2 released on Sep 21st 2016.
It only supports newer devices for now, so certain older models may not work, at least for now.
For example, some devices that should work fine are Samsung Galaxy S6, S7, and any Android phone that comes with Android OS 6.0 or newer.
Phones that initially came with Android OS 5 or older and have 6.0 now after an upgrade may not work.
Some common device models that do not work are Samsung Galaxy S5, Note 4, Note Edge.
We might add support for Fingerprint login for those older devices in the future.

Please note we already support this on iPhone, since quite a long time ago.
We are investigating adding support for this for Android OS devices.

I am sorry, but this is currently impossible. Our apps always have just ONE password, you can not have two or more.

@Anonymous, please submit a support ticket for this issue, and we can help you.
You can submit a ticket here:

Please make sure to include exact Windows/Mac OS X version you use, plus SplashID Desktop app version.
Also, trying to import into Excel, no go, tells us nothing.
You may need to follow special steps to get a proper import.
Please also mention your MS Excel version.

    Thanks!

I am sorry, but 7.2.x Desktop app view is not coming back.
If you wish, you can downgrade back to 7.2.2 Desktop app (Mac) or 7.2.4 Desktop app (Windows PC). Our older 7.2.x Desktop apps sync fine with Web and mobile apps.

    This is already there.
However, you need Ctrl+Q, not Command+Q.
