  1. Windows desktop client - cursor should default to search field on open

    Guys, could you please fix one niggling but infuriating feature. On the windows desktop client, which I used frequently, upon opening the app, the cursor used to default to the search field which is pretty much the only field I use upon opening the app on any device. Ever since I signed up for the cloud service, I have to use the mouse to click in the search field. This is inconvenient. Please fix the default and/or add a keyboard shortcut, ideally <Ctrl> F to make what is a good product as efficient as possible.

  2. Confirmation to save changes

    There should be confirmation to save or cancel changes when you leave a field that has been edited. Many times I have changed a password, clicked off that field then out of the record only to find that my password has not been updated because I was not prompted to save.

  4. finally fix the Windows Phone app.

    Please make the Windows phone version of Splash ID finally to work, syncing and all. SplashID is the last app that still forces me to carry my old iPhone with me everywhere.

  6. when entering a password - do not automatically make the first letter upper case.

    Not all passwords start with an upper case letter. please do not always make it so on the password entry line.

  7. Filter to exclude archived data

    I’m using SplashID Safe since 2001. Therefore I have a lot of stuff in there. Some infos like old smartphone data are more historically for archiving purposes or to keep the legal retention periods under control. I mark them with the category "Obsolete". It would be great to have a kind of filter in SplashID to hide such entries normally. Maybe SplashData could implement an checkmark in the category manager. "Checked" means "active" and unchecked means "inactive" or archived (or even obsolete). Inactive entries would then be excluded from both the display and the search function. Would it be possible…

  8. Icons on records

    Please show for each record icons for sync status, presence of attachment, presence of URL, presence of notes. It will help in determining visually a snapshot of the record contents.

  10. Display Reminder Dates

    Once a reminder is set, there is no way to tell if a record is associated with a reminder. The reminder date should be visible within the record view. Additionally, there should be a filter that presents only records with reminders, that you can sort in chronological order.

  11. Add Two-Factor Authentication via Symantec VIP Access

    Symantec's VIP Access app for smart phone is used by many banks, ebay, and PayPal to provide additional security. Given the sensitivity of these records protected by SplashID, it would be nice to be able to use this same VIP app to access SplashID

  13. On a Mac (under preferences) or a PC (options), be able to state which type of group one wants to see when the program opens.

    This will save a click on your computer each time one boots the program. You could even go further and have it show the last entry you were looking at.

  14. Have automatic login pop-up when arriving at a saved web site.

    I am told by a friend that he switched to a different product because it automatically detects saved web sites and offers to supply the credentials automatically, without saving them in the browser.

  18. Do away with version 8 and refund money when customers are not satisfied

    Dear Sirs,
    I upgraded to Version 8 and it was a disaster. The Version 8 interface is terrible, you used my Master Password for an online account and then you uploaded all of my passwords to that account - This was very deceptive and you lost my trust. As a result of this change in your business model, I requested a refund for the money I spent on version 8 and was never able to get one.   19. Users should be in charge of whatever level of security they wish, NOT SplashID!!!

    The option about when SplashID Safe sleeps should be open to the user and not limited by a bunch of software designers who have no idea what users want or need. If user elects to NEVER go to sleep (or lock) on a particular device, that should be the user's choice.
