  4. Don't present options which don't apply to my installation

    Most of the options on the left side column apply to cloud sync. I want to be able to specify that I don't want to use any cloud-related features. Thereafter I do not want to see any options about cloud options. Regardless of my type of subscription.

  5. provide documented hotkeys / keyboard shortcuts

    Certain well-known hotkeys already work in the desktop app: Ctrl-N to create a new record, Ctrl-F to enter the search box to find records.

    It would be great if all available hotkeys were documented, and if there were a more complete set of hotkeys to perform most functions in the desktop app, such as mask/unmask for the selected record.

  6. Display a confirmation of the sync option.

    I've trashed my three devices several times and had to restore, because I had the wrong option selected. (Also, I didn't understand the synch(?) option.)

  7. Do not create extra items when upgrading versions

    The upgrade to V 8 created many additional boiler-plate items which were a real pain to remove.

  8. How about a 'keep my important text messages safe' import feature for smartphones?

    My Blackberry keeps loosing text messages - they just disappear randomly - it's a known problem - and with other phones I hear - so a nice way to have a database of text messages you want to keep would be handy - as these can be very handy like some past emails...

  11. Allow for unlimited timeout on Desktop

    Currently a max of 999 minutes is available for desktop versions. I think most folks are able to access and manage their own security risks.

  12. Improve address book features - such as adding import/export features-for example taking them from Blackberry Contacts (my BB looses data)

    Splash ID is good but address/contacts features could be made better - 1. including import export features such as for example getting my Blackberry contacts easily ported into SplashID for safe keeping via either the smart phone or BB desktop software databases.. - My BB9320 - and others I gather from the web keeps loosing valuable data - which SplashID does not...

    1. How about setting up a text message direct from SplashID address/contacts feature for smartphones - for the same reasons above...?

  13. Add URL Field, With Web Login Capability, to All Record Types

    Many of my records I maintain have a need for a URL field. Trying to maintain two records was cumbersome. My fix was to use Categories to organize by a genre. For years now I've built every record using Type: Web Logins and then choose a Category such as Banking. This provides me the URL field I need for the Web Login feature.

  16. to make SplashID stable! I want to start the app on MacOS, iOS and Android an want to search without a crash in about 1000 passwords!

    Since many verisons SplashID crashes very often when I search for a password after unlocking the app. After 1-2 tries it works.

  17. Resizable width for the Category / Type column

    Make the width for the Category / Type column resizable in version 8. It is mostly very hard to read the description for the items. And the width of the detail view is unnecessary wide.

  18. Enable WIFI ongoing sync in the background between devices with the same user name and password just like the sync to the cloud

    So all members's database on the same wifi is always the same

  19. Mutual device sync

    When you have SplashID on more that 1 desktop/laptop and tablet or phone or both it would help to allow syncing between multiple devices and to designate which device is master.

  20. ensure personally created fields synchronise consistently

    Synchronising does not work consistently. Field names, records and categories all get dropped from time to time
